21 Sierra SLT X31 with 5.3L and 8 speed - stutter and sluggish acceleration

 New to the truck world.  I have a 2021 Sierra SLT w/ X31 with a 5.3L and 8 speed transmission.  It has 32K miles. It started stuttering on takeoff without load and is sluggish to change gears. There’s a loud clicking noise consistent with the RPMs. At the same time the ESC light comes on, the service parking brake light comes on, and I get a warning that steering assist is disabled.  Any ideas what I’m looking at here?

That unfortunately sounds like a bad lifter. I wouldn't drive it until the dealer looks at it.

Agree, take it to the dealer right away.

Taking it to the dealer tomorrow.  The clicking is fairly loud, and inconsistent.

The stuttering on takeoff and sluggish gear changes, along with the clicking noise, could point to a transmission problem. Low fluid levels or worn components might be the culprits.
The warning lights for ESC, parking brake, and steering assist indicate an electrical glitch. It could be a sensor acting up or a wiring issue.

But, I'm sure your dealer will help you sort it out. Keep us posted on how it goes!
