Radio presets

Hello,I have a 2015 gmc serra 1500. I put a new battery in it today and lost all my presets. If I hold the preset button it seems like it's going to store the station but it doesn't. Any one have any ideas how to get the presets to program stations? Anybody ever have this happen? It's a pain not having them working.

I've not experienced your issue before but I would suggest to pull the Radio fuse for a minute & try it again afterwards to see if that worked. It's just a thought.

It may have 2 radio fuses, 1 for the memory and 1 for power

What's strange is the presets work for FM but won't preset XM stations?

Also just got a message trying that said "unable to store favorites in this mode" what ever that means?

Figured it out...found an old post on here. Something to do with resetting private data? But any way that worked!
