2022 Silverado Clicking with brake press

Hello, today at 37,000 miles I had sudden brake clicking that is very audible when on and in park. When turned off or shifted to a gear it goes away and it sounds like it is coming from the actual handle of the gear selector. But I am confused how this randomly started being so loud when pressed in the on/park position. Any insight or fixed would be greatly appreciated!

It's under warranty. Make GM fix their problem!

 

That said, it sounds like (from here) to be a park pawl that's, for some reason, trying to engage something that's moving, but shouldn't be ...

 

That's a strange one. But, I'd let the people who built it figure that one out.
