Dear All,

My brand new AC, when outside temp is 90F or above, takes too long to cool down to Operating temp of ~50F. I have temperature gauge inserted in the vent to measure what is being blown out.

From the start:

- it stays blowing at 60F Degrees (Vent incoming Air) for 14 or so minutes.

- Then after only 22 minutes from the start it goes down to 50F or better sometimes.

It seems to function fine, when outside temp is 85F or lower.

I have taken it to two different dealerships, and they claim it is working within the specification for the design.

The issues is that it takes TOO long to get to specified operating temperature of 50F or below.  I guess they failed to put time requirement in there.

I have done the same test on my 2016 Tahoe, it drops in to 55F or less range within the 6 or less minutes in the exact same environmental condition.

Any help, direction or advice will be greatly appreciated.
