Software update

Got an e mail from GM stating my 2023 Sierra needs a software update that can only be done by the dealer. The claim is it will update the infotainment features and enhance performance. I've heard one hour to 4 hours for the update. Anyone else have this done and how long it took?

1-2 hours depending on any roadblocks (GM server communication, internet, etc.).

Took about 90 minutes. Depends on the servers for downloading the software, and then it doing it's own thing. If you can, have the dealership give you a loaner, whilst you drop it off, then just pick it up at the end of the day. That's what I did.
