Depending on where you live keeping the plow pkg intact may help w/ selling it. The buyers of my 2000 & 2004 3/4 tons were specifically looking for plow trucks.

Based on where you live, I can believe that!

I ordered my truck with the snow plow prep package w/ aux battery and fifth wheel/goose neck option. I won't be using either but I do use the bed mounted 7 way trailer connector to power the LED light strips in my ARE cap.

I test drove an 2024 AT4 HD with the snow plow prep package with the BFG KO3 tires before ordering my truck. I figured that living in VT, someone would want the plow prep package.

I run the OEM BFG KO3's during Spring/Summer and Hakkapeliitta LT3 studded snow tires for Fall/Winter at 55 psi front and rear. With 2 people and the stuff in the truck, it weighs 1000 pounds over the curb weight. Truck rides good. I'm guessing if I ran an empty truck it would be a harsher ride.

I miss studded snow tires. I had them in NH then in PA in the winters.

In between company's, i worked in Stow VT for 3 weeks moving a sub station that blew up at the bottom of the Van Trap lodge. Nice people there.

I still have a set of quick chains that fit my new pig from the other pig. 50mph on dry roads rated for.

Growing up w/ & driving mostly 3/4 tons (learned to drive in a '75 GMC), I'm kind of immune to the ride harshness. That being said I do run the tires at 50-55 when not trailering.

Back to the '94 w/ the extra leaves. When I had it for sale, a co-worker what I was getting to replace it, "A 3/4 ton". 'Oh I've got one now, but will be going back to a 1/2 ton. It's too rough.' To be honest, I don't think he should've been in a 3/4 ton in the 1st place... The 2000 I ended up w/ was before GM offered the 2500HD in the GMT800 truck. Strange after they had the 3/4 ton w/ C6P(?) option on the GMT400s.

Any 3/4 ton Z71s out there?

I can revise this as more info comes in.

3300# payload was fine with me!

Unless you are actually using your truck for snow plowing or have a diesel, ZERO reason to have a heavier duty front spring on a 3/4T truck. My rear axle rating is 6600#.

I can afford to pay cash for a Denali so I will take the lipstick! If the Denali Ultimate was available in gas, I would have bought that trim! If the work truck trim model is what you have to buy so be it...people buy what they can afford.

I tow a 6500# travel trailer(possibly 8000# in the future) and a 6500/7000# boat so no need for anything heavier. It's why I bought a 3/4T! I enjoy the WAY smoother ride. If I wanted the rough ride like the snow package gives, I would have bought a Ford F250. I drove in a friend's truck with the snow package...was unbearable to me. He is probably changing his springs now!

Hopefully you’ll be able to afford a house that’s not flanked on either side by another house just inches away.
at least you can easily pass the sugar to your neighbors.

Next you’ll say that isn’t your house. Probably picking up Brad bill for the local electrical engineers Ted talk.

That's one of my vacation homes(I own it free and clear). This one is on Lake Tahoe in Tahoe Keys. Boat sits on the dock in the backyard. Previous picture was after I pulled it our for the season.

BTW...I have no idea who Brad Bill is but keep on trying to think that.

Here is my place on the water. I mean it’s just my Airbnb that I use as a write off. I own it free and clear

You should consider adding a pool to your yard. It’s just missing that wow factor that my place offers.

Currently in the backyard...waiting for the snow storm to arrive.

No need for a pool...it's just my 2600 sq foot lake house.

Hurry up and get that rotting deck replaced because the places across the way have one upped you on their decks.

You have to keep up appearances, it’s extremely important.

I can actually agree with you there. New one is going in in the spring and much bigger! Architect/engineering is being done as we speak. All stainless steel railings!

We’ll get that done so y on can concentrate on upgrading your puddle jumper. Word on the street is your neighbors across the way, the jones, are taking delivery of their new Boston whaler 420 outrage. Having the best boat is extremely important when everyone is watching.

I like my camper front springs. The 5th wheel gooseneck isn't getting used, didn't know which direction we were going but we were ready.
