Installed the latest Range DFM Disabler on my 2021 Yukon 5.3. Works great. Very pleased. Also turns off Auto Start/Stop. So its a two in one. Very easy to install and haven't had any issues.

I told my wife that her Yukon converter shudder developed because of the DFM. I wasn't aware that Range had this for the T1 SUV's now. I had one on a 14 silverado 5.3 w AFM. Thanks for sharing

The hardest most critical part of this installation is the dreaded GM style electrical connector.  Its something like pulling back the red tab and pushing down.  For some this will be easy but for others it will be difficult.  When its difficult there is a tendancy to break something.

So when this is installed if the connector is difficult revisit the video and instructions.  Do not force anything or use tools.  Thats directed at those who cant figure out the connector.  Otherwise its a simple install.

My overall experience using the disabler was the truck seemed faster and the 5.3 worked better overall.  I did not do any kind of scientific study on the resulting mpg but based on the trip computer seems like I get the same mileage.
