2023 Chevy 3500 no trailer lights, but trailer brakes work.

Hello!,

I have been searching on Google. Tried a few things I’ve seen recommended, and no remedy.

I just bought a new to me 2023 3500 High Country, for towing our skid steer, low and behold the trailer lights don’t work.. absolutely none of them. No brake lights , no running lights nor blinkers. Does not recognize the trailer in trailering app.
Works just fine on my 21 2500 Denali and 19 f250.

the truck does though recognize the trailer brakes, but no lights. I did buy the adapter.. it still does not work.

shut the truck off plugged it in etc nothing.

 

trailer is a 2025 rawmaxx all LED lights. 
I hooked it up to my little homemade utility trailer with two lights and same issue.

in bed and on bumper plugs both have same issue.

It seems like the issue could be related to a few things, such as the wiring for the trailer, the trailer brake controller, or even the adapter. Since your 2023 3500 High Country recognizes the trailer brakes but not the lights, I would suggest double-checking the adapter compatibility with the truck and ensuring the wiring is correctly connected. Also, it could be worth inspecting the trailer's LED lights to ensure they are functioning correctly with the vehicle’s electrical system. It may also be useful to try a different adapter or test the truck’s trailer wiring with another trailer
