Interested to see how others are using Android Auto wirelessly in their trucks that don't have a wireless radio.

Instead of Android Auto, use this on every vehicle I have. Make the the vehicle see it as car play but display a full Android interface. I use turn on my phone hot spot every time I go in the car.

I don't know what happened to my post yesterday, so I'll try again. Kenwood and JVC are coming out with direct replacements for our factory radios that have wireless car play and Android auto. I think they'll start shipping in April/May.

I initially wanted the Motorola dongle, but found out there's no way to update it so it is what it is and nothing for the future. I bought AAWireless dongle and it has software and firmware updates pretty regularly and haven't had any issues with it.

The original version was about $100 when it came out when I bought it a few months after having my truck. They've now got a second version and it's only $65!

Holy crap.  I sure hope they make a kit for the 10" kenwood for the 2019+ silverados.  That would be amazing.
