My truck doesn’t lock when I leave it so I always have to lock it with my key.. I thought these trucks had an option to automatically lock but I’m having trouble making that work. Google says to enable “passive door locking” in the remote key unlock settings but I don’t have the “passive door locking option” so I would think it’s not an option for my truck but my truck has the option for “delayed locking” which is to delay a passive door locking.. why is my door not locking on its own? Does anyone have an idea? Also when I lock the doors they don’t automatically open like they are supposed to after pulling on the door handle twice.. I do have that feature on and it doesn’t seem to work. Can someone help me

Pretty sure the delayed passive door lock option is when you unlock the doors, and don't open them for 30 seconds or so, they will automatically re-lock.
Anyway, that's how mine works and I can adjust the interval with the BT Diesel AutoSync system.
For example, when I unlock all doors and the tailgate while I load groceries (a great word I just found out about), if I don't open a door, it will automatically re-lock the doors while I return my cart to the store..

Only passive entry/ push start ignition GM vehicles have this feature that automatically locks/ unlocks as you approach or leave the vehicle. The delayed/ passive locking feature you may have read about is where you press the door lock button with the door open. You will then hear a chime and 5 seconds after the last door is closed the truck will lock. Any door can be opened in that 5 second window, resetting the timer before automatically locking.
