Bluetooth wont let me pair

My 2015 silverado ltz wont let me pair my phone everytime i try it puts up a message “ this feature is unavailable while moving” but im not moving when i try the transmission is in park the emergency brake is on and it still wont let me do it i’ve even tried with the engine not running i just also tried disconnecting the battery for about an hour and no change

Maybe your phone is not compatible with the older truck.

No it is not that it wont pair at all with anything

Have you gone into the radio settings to see if it is full with other phones? Maybe it has too many phones attached to it and it can't take anymore. If that doesn't work, I'd try unhooking your battery for 30 minutes to reset everything.

No, I’ve already checked that. There is no phone registered to the Bluetooth on that and I’ve disconnected the battery for two hours and it still does it. The problem I think is for some reason the truck always thinks it’s moving.

Have you checked to see if your radio is up to date? I wonder if something is glitched in the software and it needs to be updated.
