PF44 Oil Filter is Still Available under UPF44

I was poking around looking for the filter model to for my 2001 Tahoe.. It looks like it used to be PF44 and then Delco Discontinued it.

 

However they never stopped making the UPF44 (Ultra Gold) I use them for my 2000 Corvette.

 

Yhey are an awesome filter! with a 98% first pass filtration efficiency.

Remember to individually wrap the filters in a ziplock bag until they get used.

Why not go with the PF46? That's the replacement number (off the top of my head anyway). Much better availability.....Is there something wrong with it?

There is nothing wrong with the PF46 it's probably as good as any other off the shelf filter. It's just not a GOLD level filter..
