I put no, because ducked billed platypus' are slow.....that being said, I walked out of the front door of my apt, one night, and I was greeted by a hissing opossum....I screamed like a woman, but in general..no I am not frightened by the sight of a marsupial.

The only time they scare me is when they run out 10 feet infront of me at night while I'm driving 70mph on the highway.

No they don't scare me, but if I lived in the "Outback" and had a male Kangaroo hop up to me, I might be a little scared. I watched some show where a male Kangaroo beat the cr@p out of some dude. The man was drunk and was trying to start something with the Kangaroo, his friends got it on tape. Needless to say, the Kangaroo finished him off with one huge kick to the man's mid-section. Chris

Platypus isn't a marsupial, I believe it's a monotreme.

Platypus isn't a marsupial, I believe it's a monotreme.

You would be correct, I guess I don't know my marsupials, as well I thought. That being said, I am still afraid of hissing opossums, that I almost step on when I walk out of my front door.

I'm not afraid of opossums, but if I walked out my door, and there was on hissing right there...I too would scream like a 6 year old girl.....And kick it clean across the street.
