New Tires

I decided to get rid of the OEM Wrangler ST before they caused me to crash while raining. The Michelins are 255/70/16 which is wider but same diameter as OEM. Wonder how long it will be before Wifey notices? :flag:

How do they compare against your old tires? I'm still a year or so away from needing tires, but Michelins are at the top of my list

My '00 Silverado had those on it when I bought it last year. They are great! Wear like iron and have one of the highest load ratings for Light Truck Tires. That's important to me since I tow a travel trailer. Mine are 265/75/16s.

Wifey will notice when she sees the bank statement! They are kind of pricey!

The Wrangler ST are unsafe at any speed when wet! I have not driven it the rain yet with the new tires but they should be much better.

I work at a tire store and got 250$ off! :flag:

When I had my '99 F-150 I put those same tires on there (265/75/16) I put over 20K miles on them and they showed no signs of wear! They were so quiet it was amazing. Although a little pricey, they are well worth the money.

Great choice! I had those on my ZR2 and loved 'em. As soon as it's time to replace the tires on my Sierra, I'll get a set of these. Enjoy!

I have those same tires on my HD and I think they are great all weather tires. If I ever wear them out, I'd certainly put them on again!!!

I was so impressed with my first set I had to put them on my new truck immediatly! They worked great in the snow, great in the wet and had about 60k on them on my last truck when I sold it and they probably still had another 20-30 k in them....

Only think Id mention is they pick up rocks like crazy!!!!!!!! If you have any type of gravel/dirt roads to travel a set of husky mud flaps are definetly in order!

Enjoy! Youll get sick of the truck before you wear out the tires!

I had them on my truck and liked them alot. I ended up replacing them when I cracked a wheel, I decided then to buy BFG All Terrains at the same time since I wanted a little more bite in the dirt.

Nice tires, looks good!

I sell tires for a living. LTX's are always the first thing I recommend. second is the BFG Long Trail.

I wonder how these are for long mileage. I'm not really referring to wear and tear, but other issues, such as maintaining new-tire control of hydroplaning and a hardening of the tire, creating a harsher ride, when the tires have at least 30,000 miles on them?

Sounds like a great tire... I'm comparing long-mileage experiences by others of this tire against the Revo Dueler AT Bridgestones.
