Just wondering if anybody has had this problem before. I'm taking my truck in wednesday while its under warranty to see if they can fix the problem. All of a sudden, my cruise control, brake lights, and left turn signal do not work. However, my right turn signal and third brake light works perfect. I'm also having trouble with my key flobs only working every now and then as well. Anybody else have this problem or had this problem.

Did you check the fuse? VEH STOP in the Instrument Panel Fuse Block controls the stop lights, brake module and electronic throttle control module. LT TRN controls the Left turn signals and sidemarkers. CRUISE controls the Cruise control. There are also fuses in the Underhood Fuse Block that are related to the items that you are having problems with.

Try new batteries in the key fobs. They are only supposed to last 2 years. You will need to resynchronize after replacing the battery. Hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter at the same time for 15 seconds. The door locks should cycle to confirm synchronization. If the locks do not cycle, see your dealer for service.

 I'm having a similar problem with my one week old '04 GMC. Left turn signal stopped working. Had dealer replace turn signal switch yesterday. This seemed to fix the trouble until the next day when they quit again. I've scheduled another appointment with the dealer Monday and am hopeful that it will be corrected permanently. How about some feed back on the remedy?

The cruise probably isn't working due to the issue in the stop lt circuit...kinda like when you tap the brake pedal and the cruise shuts off. Could be wiring problem, or something as simple as a shorted bulb.
