Remote Keyless Entry

I'm wondering if anyone knows if these remote entry FOBs can be programed to do a different sequence.  Right now I have to press unlock twice to unlock all doors and I have to press lock twice to lock the doors an arm the alarm system.  Would be easier if I only had to press each button once.

I can't help, but I would be interested in knowing if anyone has a trick for this one too. I haven't figured it out yet. There is nothing in the owner's manual about doing it that way. I don't mind the double button push for lock & arm, but I would REALLY like to unlock BOTH doors with ONE push of the button!!

 

This is funny, because I was just about to post on a similar topic. How do you get the parking lights to STOP flashing when you hit the unlock button. I don't like advertising where my truck is when I unlock it at night. I can understand the reasoning behind these features, but COME ON GM! At least give us the option to turn them OFF!
