Next Tuesday through Friday i'll be traveling to Detroit to preview the new 2005 General Motors Automobile Lineup. During the trip i'll have the honor to drive the new 2005 Corvette and Cadillac STS.

My question for all of you, is this:

I'll have the ability to ask ALOT of questions, and will actually be interviewing Tom Wallace (VLE of Small/Midsize Trucks). I want to know what YOU want to know. What pictures you want, what questions you want me to ask, and what video you want.

I'll be updating every night with new pictures, movies, and a journal from the day.

So, bring on the questions!!

Hmm, what do I want to know? Well, Zane, do you ever stay home? Jk. Sounds like a great opportunity and I'm sure you'll have some good reviews as always. Short on questions at the moment. But the General has kind of turned a corner lately with some of the styling changes on stuff as well as the Equinox, so it should be interesting to see what is said.

ask them if they will hire me  (seriously)

I wouldn't mind a vehicle related gig. When you think about how big the General is...

What new features/ options is GM working on that will debut or trickle down in the next few years? Things like distance sensing cruise, cadillac's magnetic shocks. For the trucks, will there be a new diesel, or will they continue to build on the Dmax, trailer brake controller from the factory and will they ever put quadrasteer on the 2500HD and 3500?

Could You please ask the following questions....

1. More ground clearnance. GM trucks r too close to the ground compare to Ford and Dodge.

2. quadrasteer on 4x4.

3. Backing sensors

Thanks

Pete

How about asking them to give us an option of a rear sliding window!

A sliding rear window is available again as an option (after GM taking a few years to get one made that the plastic frame wouldn't crack)

In the upper level trucks that come with a rear window defogger standard you can get the rear slider as a no-charge option in place of the defogger.

They ought to just put in a Rear Power window and let you completely lower it when you want lots of air moving through the cabin. That would be a nice option! Chris
