What's the best way to connect a PDA to a factory 03 bose system to play Mp3's?

Without going all out, I would suggest a simple FM modulator to broadcast a low level FM signal that your HU can pick up.

If you have the DVD player, it has a set of aux inputs.

that's the situation; i do want to go all out. i've seen the fm modulators, but was hoping there's an input on the factory HU that can be hardwired into.

there is no aux input built into 03 hu. but you can add 2 aux input by using the aai-gm12 or aai-gm24 from pac.
