Adding rear seat audio controls to an 01 Sierra

just wondering if anyone has done this. I wired mine up yesterday and they work as they should except the rear speakers turn on when you turn the RSA's on and they actually sound like they are amplified. Has anyone else that has done this mod had the same results? I seem to remember using them in the yukons and all the sound was through the headphones, not the rear speakers. I am pretty sure of all my wiring and even got some help from jason pendlum and he says he vaguely remembers encountering the same problem when he did his rear audio controls in his silverado. By the way i am doing them with a non-Bose stereo, and yes, i do have the non-Bose RSA's. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. I can provide the pin-outs that i used and the wires that i spliced if that will help. My truck is an 01 GMC Sierra. Thanks in advance.
