REPLACING FIRESTONE TIRES

I currently have Firestone Steeltexs on a 2500 LD. I'm thinking about replacing them with the Bridgestone A/T Revos. Will the Bridgestones have the same profile as the Firestones ? How will they ride and handle ? Will they throw stones and gravel ?

I replaced my procomp A/t's with the Revo's and was really pleased with them. I have the 285/75/16 which is about a 33 inch tire. The procomps were junk. Before the Procomps I also had the Firestone tires. Of the three, the Revos are the best. They ride nice, are quiet and are outstanding in the rain. As for throwing stones or gravel, I haven't noticed a problem. They will be pretty much the same as other A/t's.

I went from a 245 Firestnoe to a 265 cooper and my speedo is right on

I'd do a search for the Revos here and you should get plenty of good reviews. Love mine still and 33k and change.

I just got a set of the Dueler Revos in P265/75R16 for my 99. So far they are whisper quiet on the freeway and have a wider tread width than the old Firestone Wilderness AT's that came on the truck. I haven't seen any problems with the treead design holding and tossing rocks, but I'm looking forward to ski season this year to see how these tires do in snow.

I put the Bridgestone Dueler Revo A/T's on my 99' Silverado and I love them. I put them on about 3,000 miles ago and there isn't a thing about them I don't like. Not only are the quiet, with super grip on wet roads, but it's an awesome looking tread design. I also can't wait to see how they are in the snow. I would recommend them to anyone, but expect to pay a bit. I got my 4 for $574(mounted and balanced) which I didn't think was too bad actually, but still quite a bit for rubber.

Must be nice! I'm getting quotes for around 800-850 for (4) 265/75-15 'E' rated...

Should be getting them before winter gets here.

Im replacing my Firestone SteelTex as well, because, they are pure crap. They are worn down even with rotation and proper inflation after only 27,000 miles on them. They have a recall on the Load Range D tires already. But, my tires are the E range and already are experiencing the same problems as the D. Going to the Local Firestone Dealer this week for warranty claims...I bet they will come up with some B.S...will see
