Help I need To Know Where And How I should Mount my Amp.

Should I Just Atach It To The Floor By Drilling Holes And Using Sheet Metal Screws? I Really Dont Like The Idea Of Drilling Holes In My New Truck. Do I Have Any Other Options? My Amp Is a Jension 400 Watts. I Also Have 3 10" Kickers All In Seprate Boxes. I Was Thinkin About Getin One Box But untill I Scrounge The GreenBacks Up I Want A Short Term Fix.

Any Suggestions?

Where are your boxes located, is there any way you could screw amp to one of the boxes ? Friend of mine built his own box under the back seat on the drivers side and screwed amp fast to his box.

Id say mount it behind the rear seat, on the rear wall.  i have a 5-channel Jensen mounted back there and have no problems with it.  The only annoying thing is that you cant adjust anything without taking the whole seat out.  Mount it low enough so that some of the heat-sink fins stick out below the seat and it wont over heat unless you are really pushing it.  you will have to drill through the metal in the back of the truck, but it worked out fine for me and is totally concealed, self taping screws work fine.  Also, mount the amp to a thin board and then to the wall, it will keep vibration down.  Hope i helped

Mine in my 1995 is just sitting under the front seat.  It had some double stick tape holding it but that didn't work too long, but it seems to work fine just sitting there.  If I hit the brakes hard enough to make it come out from under the seat I'm screwed anyways.  If you want to get ingenious you could take a board and mount it to that and then through some holes on the seat mount or something.
