Mr. Clean AutoDry

Works as described. The only thing I don't like is that it is a pain to clean out your rag without a bucket, but then again you are always using clean water. The spot free feature works very well.

I concur, the thing is a live saver since I don't have a shop I can get in for shade and we have very hard water. Was well worth the investment.

I bought one of the first units, tried it on my CTS, and it didn't work as advertised. It didn't dispense soap and left tons of waterspots. Probably a bad unit, but I returned it for a refund. I'll keep using my Toro leafblower or the California Waterblade.

I have one it seems to work great, the only thing I think makes it work so good is the water filter, if a company had just a water filter it would do the same thing. IMO

I think the soap you use thats made for it has a sheathing coat on it, kind of like the jet dri in dishwashers. That keeps the soap from drying on the metal. The filter does make a difference though. We have very hard water here and even though I run the water through the softener, it still spots. The mr clean really works great as long as I watch the filter and change it when needed. :seeya:

I use it quite a bit. I've used it both with it's own soap and with bucket soap and it work's equally well. IMO, it's the filtered rinse that makes for the no spot drying.

I've found that I like to still towel dry the smaller vehicles at times, though. Personal preference. It's on our 40' diesel pusher RV where it really shines and saves me a lot of time and effort.

I've used it on my old white truck and my wife's maroon Malibu, and I really liked the results.

Now that I have a Black Truck, I'm curious to see how well it works on that truck.

Overall...I'm really pleased with the results.

Generally speaking, I think it works great. Absolutely eliminates waterspots. But has anyone else noticed that the wash mitt rag, or whatever you use gets FILTHY? In reading the brochure, it says something about it's "superior cleaning" ability, and more dirt is removed, or words to that effect. I have a hard time believing it, but the mitt gets filthy dirty. Any thoughts on this?

I also have it and find that it works great. I still use the Bucket to wash the cars though. Then I rinse it all off, and then go back and spray there soap on, then wash that off. Then do the spot dry and it works awesome.

I tried using other soap in the thing, and it didn't work near as good. It seems as long as I spray their soap off before the final wash, I get no water spots at all.

I use it all the time, it is awesome.

I got one for Christmas and it rocks!  I wash my vehicle twice a week.

Dayum, twice a week? Man, there'd be no way I could force myself to wash my truck 2x a week, let alone once a week...of course it doesn't help that I have a truck (Yukon XL Denali) with a lot of sheet metal to wash...

On topic--I just bought it too and it does work, although with as big a truck I have and the puny output of the filtered water...it sure does take a long time to rinse it.

I have an orginal one and it works nice. Just saw on TV yesterday they have a new one with more water pressure and has a mitt for rubbing the soap. That was a problem I saw when the truck is real dirty. I still use a bucket and sponge after I apply the soap and then rinse with the Mr Clean.
