99Silver6.0 Posted October 24, 2004 Posted October 24, 2004 http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showt...threadid=133971 Check that out.... I wonder if that dude even know theres a blower sitting on top of that motor?? Or does he think its just a big funny looking alternator??
SnakeEyeSS Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 there was a guy on the BMW forusm a few days back asking where to put the oil.......
Metz Motorsports Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 Sounds like my friends wife's situation....she was across town and her car over heated, so she calls one of her 'male' friends to come check it out, he calls and says "When I checked the alternator the antifreeze was fine but the water was low".... Or the salesman when I bought my truck, the Low Coolant light was on during the test drive, I open the hood and he points to the brake master cylinder and says "well the coolant looks full to me!" BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
SnakeEyeSS Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I wouda busted out laughing if the guy did that. probably make him fell bad I'd be laughing so hard
Supurban Posted October 25, 2004 Posted October 25, 2004 I knew a guy at work that didn't know where his jack in his Honda was. At least he found the spare tire back there. But hey just this evening I was opening the hood to my Sub and was cursing the latch before I realized I grabbed the parking break handle instead.
99silveradoz71 Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 It's all about taking a step back and seeing the big picture...and doing your homework too.
The SPEEDY Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 After going to work at a honda dealership stuff like that has no effect on me, I see it all the time. Not only from custumers and salesmen but even service writters. What gets me are the people that think they know what they are talking about and will argue about it with you, when they really have no clue.
