I immediately received an e-mail notification from Paypal, but not a peep from StreetInspiredKustoms. After a few days I started trying to e-mail them, again not a peep from them. On 1 Nov I received this from them in a forward from their copy of the Paypal notification”

 

Hello, I wanted to email you an update. We have had email problems so we may not of received an email from you if you sent one. Also I was told that the order will go out this wed. USPS 2-3 day priority. Sorry for the delay we had a problem with the supplier. Thanks, Street Inspired Kustoms

 

Well here it is 3 days from Wed and no mirrors, so what I’m looking for is their phone number since they don’t reply to e-mails.

I only see their FAX: 1-509-272-6439 on the web-site...try drop'n them a note that way

This is strange, I tried to do a yellow pages search for Street Inspired Kustoms in Brentwood, CA since that is where their web page says they are. No luck. Then I tried a reverse directory search on their fax number and got this"

 

The phone number "(509) 272-6439" is a Spokane, WA based phone number and the registered carrier is Xo Washington, Inc.

 

And the search goes on.......

Don't know the #. But if it's any help when I ordered my mirrors from them they were a couple day late getting to me after the back order. And they are not very good at replying to there customers emails, but It's worth the wait

Well, no big suprise, they didn't respond to my e-mail. Guess I'll just keep sending day after day.

6 business days from when they said they’d ship and still no mirrors, guess it’s a good thing I don’t really need them. Still can’t find their stupid phone number and they won’t respond to my e-mails, the frustration factor is rising.

No order yet, but it's only been 20 days since I ordered and 10 since they said they'd send it. Can't decide if I should contact my credit card to dispute the charges or go through paypal first.

Finally received a response to an e-mail I sent through Yahoo, SIK said:

 

I called the dist and they said if it didn’t go out on Wed shipment today then it will go out by Friday. I will keep you posted.

I replied that Paypal only gives you 30 days from the time of a payment to dispute charges, so tell the dist he has less than 10 days to get them here.

 

 

I feel kinda stupid for not asking for their phone number,,, duhh

Well, it apparently didn’t go out Wed or I would have received it yesterday or today. If they sent it Fri I guess I should expect it Mon or Tue, or does Sat not count in a 2 - 3 day shipment? Of course, they did not keep me posted, big surprise there. I wonder if the Better Business Bureau is online?

Went to the Better Business Bureau site and could not find any info on SIK at all.

Whoa this is strange...I bought my mirror caps from them and got them in 4-6 days no problemo. From what I can tell on what I looked up, they were a vendor over at G M F S but thier ad was pulled. So I guess they are not doing that anymore. Sounds to me that they are on the outs...

 

I would file a thing with paypal, to get thier account frozen that way no one else can send them money. I dont think SIK is a business per say but more likley a DBA doing business as.

 

I live in the bay area, CA. so if you can get an address I could swing by and see whats going on.

 

But from my past experience they were good guys and were prompt with my shipment. And I am still pleased with my product. So I cant say any ill will towards them.

No one has kept me posted and the time to file a claim with Paypal runs out on 20 SAT 04. I will send this through as many e-mails as I can including my Yahoo acct and any more I can find. Thanks for any help.
