dash panel

on my 2002 dash below the 3 power out lets is a panel that is held on with two bolts .there is alot of space under this panel is there something that can be added there ?cup holder or some other option?i think its where the consol with the cassette player bolts up .have thought about putting a hinge on the bottom and storing my cds there ,any thoughts

On my 99 there's a cup holder there. If you went to a dealer and asked for a 99 cup holder you could probably order one. One thing though...it bounces around like crazy. I think they redesigned it though. I keep my hand on mine when I drive.
