Need some lift blocks

I have bought a set of Ford Keys now i need a set of rear lift block and ubolts to fit a 99 NBS 1/2 ton GMC, anyone have any they have upgraded and dont need now?

FYI, you can get the blocks AutoZone (or your local equivalent) for about $30-$40 with longer u-bolts included.

I looked in there yesterday but all they had were 2" blocks, and i think i need 3"..is this correct?

Did your truck come factory with blocks installed? If not, you need a 2", if so, I'd go with a 4 ". I will have an extra 2" block with U bolts after I install my 4" block.

Yes it has the factory 2" blocks in it already. Is it safe to stack blocks? I have always thought it wasnt?

Agreed, that's not a good idea at all.

 

If you want to do it right, get a set of lift springs. The truck will be better off than if it had this huge metal spacer below the spring pack.

I wouldn't, just replace your block with a 3 or 4 inch block. I just replaced my 2 inch with a 4 inch and the truck looks awesome. National Tire and Wheel can order you blocks and u bolts from Superlift. Quality stuff.
