doing brakes this weekend

finally going to have nice enough weather this weekend to get some work done on my truck. 71k and the rear pads are toast, the fronts have some life left but i'm going to replace them all just to get it out of the way. anything special about our brakes that i need to know? i have never done rear disk but i assume it's not much different than the front...think i should bleed the system? i thought about buying new rotors but i really don't think mine are bad...only a slight vibration at high speed breaking. also wanted to replace the factory shocks with some bilstein or rancho rsx but can't find them at any local parts stores, so i'll have to order online and do them later. thanks in advance for any tips or advise!

Yes, Make sure you bleed the brake system before you remove the pads & shoes so you do not push the dirty fluid into the ABS module. They are expensive. Clean the surfaces between the rotors, drums & hubs. Check the runout of the rotors to make sure they are in spec. and clean and lub the pins that the pads are held on by. :seeya:
