Vararam install help needed

How in God's green earth do you get this d**n thing in there? I've been fiddling with the sucker for an hour, and really need to get this in before tomorrow. At this rate it won't be done in 2 years I didn't think I was mechanically illiterate, but following the "instructions" has lead to cussing and nothing else accomplished. I can't for the life of me get the main duct to mate up with the airbox, and I've tried many, many times Help

Just got to keep trying man.

 

It will go on, you may have to get about half of it on and then roll the rest but it does fit.

 

Just as a make sure, and I'm sure you did this, but be sure you pulled the original sleve off of the MAF that connects to the stock airbox. Like i said I'm quite sure you did that but the install is pretty easy.

Indeed I did, at least I got that part right

 

There are 3 diff. size connectors, I've got the smallest on top (connects to the main duct), the next largest on the bottom, and the biggest on the MAF. Is this correct? It's kind of hard to tell in the pics and Vararam sure doesn't say. Also, was I reading it correctly, the radiator brace has the first bolt/screw in front with only one rubber grommet on top of the bracket, while the back one has 2 grommets beneath it? I'm still trying to figure out how this bracket that obviously has to be below the duct is to be installed above it first
