2000 YukonXL Steering Question

First time posting to the board but it has been very helpful  just lurking.

The steering in my 2000 YukonXL seems very easy almost to the point where there is little feedback from the road. I really noticed it after driving a 2002 Sierra. Has the steering changed that much or could I have a problem with the speed sensed power steering in the Yukon?

 Any help/opinions appreciated

How many miles on each

 

The sierra probably wasnt broken in yet and that is why it felt tighter

Never thought of that...there are 20,000 on the YukonXL and the Sierra had only 1500, pretty much new.
