Nothing to do with this vehicle, but it sure looks tough for everybody trying to sell a late model vehicle these days. Hard not to be upside down, and with all of the rebates and incentives, its even harder not to buy new.

Good luck.

Personally, I am VERY far from being upside down in my truck. As a matter of fact, it is almost paid for. As for buying new, rebates and incentives aside, a smart shopper will look at the used market very closely before buying new. We just bought an 04 Suburban Z-71 with a roof and dvd system and only 8500 miles for $8k less than a new, left over '04 and right at $10k less than a new '05. In total, just over $20k off the "sticker price".

Personally, for that kind of savings, I am not too proud to let someone else put the first 8500 miles on a vehicle that I am about to buy that is blemish free.

Unless someone is dead set on a new vehicle, the real savings in vehicles when rebates and low/zero interest is huge is in the used market. It is a buyers market and usually not a sellers market though. Of course, with this truck listed here, getting the same truck as a new one (except for cosmetic changes) for two thirds the price of a new one with only 38k miles is really a good deal.

Just my opinion, of course!
