Mud Flaps

Anyone out there know of any good mud flaps for a 05 2500 HD 4X4. The Husky ones just don't go far enough down for my liking. I've got 700 miles on this thing and already have rock chips on it, and i live in Ft. Dragg N.C. where we do not even get any snow or bad weather.

Thanks much

I purchased mudflaps from Kaydenco (Duraflap) - they work quite well especially when pulling a trailer through mud/snow/slush/etc. I highly recommend them.

I put the flaps on a couple of years ago. When I first bought the truck new, I put on just the regular "GMC" flat flaps (I think these were 18" long) and they didn't protect like I wanted them to. I went with the longer, wider, and thicker flaps from Kaydenco and they protect a whole lot better.

I'm a bit anal on protection especially given the fact I use the truck for bear and deer hunting and other recreational activities in the woods - I usually end up running on gravel or muddy roads in the non-winter months and snow/slush in the winter months. Plus, the flaps seem to protect whatever is behind me a lot better -the trailer and whatever is on the trailer (snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, etc). The other thing I've noticed is the flaps are self-cleaning on the inside. Nothing really sticks to them - with the exception of grease or somebody's gum your tire caught on the road.

For the price, you'll get a pretty thick, long, wide mudflap that is 'sail free'. Also, you'll get treated quite well by Dennis, the founder/owner of the company who basically runs his business on his own property. Great customer service - if you want a longer flap than what he offers, he'll customize them to your needs.

I can send you a picture of the flaps on my truck if you would like.

Thanks Big Red, but i've seen their pic's on their site and they look like they will do what i want. If they are that good though, I will probably put them on a couple other trucks of mine. Thanks for the replies though.
