tahoedriver Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Hello everyone.. We just got our new Tahoe on Friday and we love it. Stabilitrack and Autoride, all the toys. The vehicle came with running boards and I had the moulded GM flaps installed before we picked it up. Now I find out that the front flaps that are molded do not fit with the boards I thought that the boards would protect the paint behind the front wheels but they don't. Where we live the sanded streets chew up a paint job pretty quick without something behind the wheels. Does anyone out there know of a solution other that the generic flat flaps that GM sells? I would like to match the moulded ones if possible. Thanks tahoedriver
mcreyaufmiller Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 try a search on yahoo or google, chevy mud flaps. I came up with over 21,000 hits with a good match. I am sure that you could find something out there that will work. Mike
Markeaux Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 The Husky Molded Splash Guards fit fine with running boards on my 01 Tahoe - seems it should be the same with the 05 - I think they look better than GM's, too.
