Let the Mods begin

I still haven't made it back to get the dampners put on, but I did go to the truck store today. Here's what I got..................

1. Billet Grill

2. Extang Tonneau cover

3. Black Nerf Bars

All the parts are ordered and should be ready for installation sometime this week. I think I have the Winter Blues.............probably not a good idea to go to the truck store until summer.

The cost - $700.00 out the door..............is this a good price?

I'm really excited, what to do next???

Very nice start to the mod list Lisa. I'm getting ready to take the Billet Grille plunge myself, just trying to justify cutting out the center section of my factory grille first.

The guy told me the Billet I picked out was basically like an insert. Said he didn't have to modify anything, original grill stays in.

Will post pics when she's done..................I'm on a roll.......

There are some grills that are just bolt on over the existing grill.

Like for a GMC, there will be a cutout area for the GMC to show through the new grill.

That's the type I'm planning on getting in the near future.

Yeah but they also have the true insert where you cut out the center section of your grill and bolt the billet area in its place. I know a member by the name of Flodine had one on his Sierra with not factory grill or emblem behind it and it looked great.

That's the look I'm going for becayse the GMC grill emblem is the last emblem I have on my truck and I'd prefer to have no emblems.
