aluminum 5.3l

i posted a topic in the general forum (curse of the bow tie)and got some good input and was told to go to the ls1 tech forum. where is this?? i really want to know how reliable are the aluminum 5.3l motors and how are the flex fuel motors. these are the only motors gm offers to new 4x4 ext cab sb trucks. i really cautious about the aluminum block.please help
