I got a question about tonneau covers

I have been looking at them on ebay. I noticed a few of the auctions for the full size trucks are for 99-2002, some are for 88-98, and then some are for 98-2002. Is there something im missing? or will a tonneau cover for the 99-2002 fit the '98. It makes things really confusing when you have a '98. I bid on one auction that was for 98-2002(lost it). Then I noticed the same guy had a auction for 88-98 covers. Im just tring to figure out what is going on.

Its a truck tek, or something along those lines. Since money is an issue, I had to go with a cheap one. I was looking at a Lund cover. But, I cant spend $200 on a cover.

I dont think it was a misprint. He has had several auctions like that and I have noticed a few other people do as well.

4x4 is right.  It's probably a misprint.  What to watch out for are the 99's.  Since they sold the new and old body style that year

I had a techstyle cover on my last truck...

leaving the bed open on my new one...although they do look great, they are a pain to snap on and off especially during the winter ( I live in Ohio)...

I don't miss it at all......just my two cents worth...

I'm sure you already know this but just in case:

88-99 C/K's are all the same bed cover

99-present Silverado's are all the same bed cover.

Just remember, they made both trucks in 99.

C/K and Silverado's do not have interchangable bed covers.  At least not if you want it to fit.

I have a Covercraft soft tonneau.  I love it.  I always wanted a hard cover but after owning a soft one I would ever use a hard one.  The benefir of the soft one is that if I need to haul something without any warning, all I have to do is roll it up and remove the rail across the tailgate.

I chose the covercraft because it has plastic clips sewn into the cover as opposed to snaps.  You cant see how mine attaches to the frame.

Hey, Jeff. After Christmas I am going to have the cat back exhaust installed. What one did you say you had on your truck again? Im looking at the Flowmaster 40 series.

Don't quote me but I think the American Thunder kit I have came with the 50 Series.  It is a single in dual out.

My wife hates it until she drives it then she loves the sound.
