 Ok, here is the problem. I driving my truck a 99 Silverado, and noticed that it started missing so I parked the truck and when I tried to start it back up, the engine would not turn over. I lifted the distributor cap and am not getting any kind of spark. I have now replaced the module and coil and still cannot get any spark from the cap. Could it be a possible wiring problem or something to do with the security system? I have run out of probabilities!!! Can somone please help me or has anyone ever expierienced this. Help would be much appreciated!!!

No spark on a 99 Silverado with a distributor...I'm assuming it's an old body style. I'd check the EFI fuse and main relay, possibly even the PCM. If there's a 4 wire connector for to the distributor, unplug it and see if the truck starts...if so, you may have a bad PCM. (I'm assuming that the cap and rotor are all OK)

Thanks budhayes3, but it is a newer bodystyle and i found where the fuel pump shorted and blew a fuse in the computer so I fixed that, now my truck will start and run a few seconds and then cut off. What else do you suggest?
