I havn't followed the news of a possible new Camaro, so most may know this already.

Is there any news/timeframe when a new one will be out? I seen some pictures a while back of a concept that had styling like the original Camaro's. Is that confirmed that the new ones will look similar to that?

Anyone have any news on this, or can you point me in the right direction? :flag:

I haven't seen anything either......GM inside news was folling it for a while, but they haven't released any big new info in a long time.

Plus, you'd have to fight me to be first in line to test drive/order one. :fume: if they looked like the 69 RS.....it'd be perfect. get one red with black stripes........OH YEAH :flag:

well guys, bad news, on GMI they have a headline: Zeta is dead, GM cancelled it's RWD car platforms under development. Zeta would have been what the Camaro would have probably been based on, and was the platform for the next gen GTO, which means there probably wion't be another(no suprise considering the sales were fiarly well under expectations)

I really like the new Mustang and the retro late 60's look. Much better looking Mustang than they've had the past 10 years or so anyway. I'd be on the waiting list for a retro Camaro for sure.

If they quit the Grand Am, I mean, GTO program it wouldn't bother me a bit. Really disappointing. Nice powertrain, terrible packaging. Just another Grand Am IMO. :flag:

Lets just say GM put that out to throw you guys off track. Don't want another vette conspiracy.

Alright, I was worried about them canceling the Camaro's return.

I think my wife is leaning towards the new Mustang. It's going to be her car, so she can get what she wants. :flag:

I do like the new Mustangs too. The look a ton better that the last two body styles in my opinion.

I wonder if Ford's been feeding the Media modified cars, GM did it a lot back in the day( and were caught several times)

I just read in the new Motor Trend GM would make the next Camaro on the Beta platform, taking it back to its roots, a hi performance RWD smaller-than-midsize car. like Caddy CTS size
