When to order 2006 GMC?

Does anyone know when you can order a 2006 GMC, I was going to get an 05 but woud like to get the more powerful Duramax and 6 sp auto in 2006. Thanks

I heard that the new 06 GMC is suppose to get a little refresh to the front. Is it true? or will it be the same except the powertrain

I would guess that it is the same, since MY07 is when the new ones will come out.

I was looking at the GMC build your on site, I've heard it's messed up, but it don't have a 8.1/6speed option. am I overlooking something? Not that it'll mater, unless the mess up the 07's. was going to order a new one, but think it'll be best to wait to get the new style.

 

Edit I mean the 6speed manual trans.

I have sold my 2004.5 lly and would like to know for sure about the 06 allison 6sp. My dealer has no info and says he wont untill end of june. Is there anywhere I can find some info?? THANKS!

Don't trust the "build your own" site on GM. Heard problems with that before. Call your dealer...he/she has the latest.

 

I think corporate keeps dealers in the dark as far as future plans. They want to sell trucks NOW, not have people wait until next year. It's all about moving inventory.
