I GOT FREAKIN BEAT, By a pontiac

Heres the story guys, im just about crying....

 

Im at the local red light (my towns only one,lol) i was playing around with this grandam, i didn't pay any attention if it was a real fast one or not ( i didn't think them things where fast at all, but was i wrong )

 

We hit the 55 mph zone with and i punch it and i fly by hit going about 65 i see lights in front of me thinking its a cop in the oncomeing lane so i slow down, next thing i know hes flying by me.... I punch it and im running 92 mph and we're running the same speed and he is one care ahead and i never could catch up, ran like that for at least 3 mins or so....the 2 lane on my side ended so i let off and let him race on to the next town. It was a stock looking ponitac grand am, Im so hurt right now

 

 

 

Tell me what happen, although, my tow/haul was engaed(could that of kept me out of 5th gear b/c it wouldn't get past 93 mph) and my truck never would get past 93 so i was pissed, so i go back up to the same spot and i go over a 100 , how come i couldn't do that when i was racing? if i couldof ran that i would of smoked the guy b/c that was all he had........

Might have something to do with Torque Management i have run into the same situation with my truck and it sucks big tim.(that was before all the lights were put on it)

You hit your top-speed limiter. Dunno how you hit 100, tho ?? TQM....

 

I GUARANTEE, with a Wester's tune you would have smoked that car. Those things aren't that fast, unless it was a stealth GTP or something. Now those aren't exactly slow...

Anything that GM makes with a 3.8 V6 nowadays, I don't even try to race. I fear it like death, taxes, and my Con Law prof. I get beat by those cars every single time. Even my girlfriend's '88 Buick PA has the 3.8.....and she can still smoke me in my '96 Cutlass Supreme SL like I was standing still. If you don't believe me, send me a PM and I'll tell you why this is true.
