96 K2500 Exhaust ???'s

Hi

 

I have a 1996 K2500 (8600 GVW) with the 5.7 and 4l80e I am looking to install a free flowing exhuast , probably a gibson but I noticed a couple of things on the old exhaust.

 

 

1) the cat is only on 1 pipe the other looks to be a resonator? yes-no?

2) how restrictive are the cat and resonator?

3) reccomended places to purchase new ones if that is your belief?

 

ok I found that they are both convertersl, any suggestions on a good free flowing system with new high flkow cats

Try a Flowmaster #530503. It has two 3 inch inlets and one 3.5 inch outlet. It is not in online catalog but it is a valid number and it normal sold with a kit but availible seperately too.
