factory tint ?

I herd the factory tint is around 20%. Anybody have any pics with the front windows with 20% on it? I want 5% where you cant see into it but dont wanna mess with the factory tint. Can you see into the cab with 20%?

I think the factory tint is around 35%.

The factory tint on our trucks, atleast the NBS trucks is 18%, if you want to really get it for the front sides then you have to special order it and it's quite expensive. I have 20% on my fronts and it looks the same unless you stare at it for a while in sunlight. I need to get some pictures of my truck on here. If I do I will post a picture here so you can see what the 20% looks like with factory ext. cab windows tinted. I personally would not go with 5% because you would not be able to see a d**n thing backing up, especially since you would have to go OVER the factory stuff. Stick with 20% or special order the 18%. I love the way my windows are!!

In many states, 35 is the limit on the front/drivers windows. If you reside in TX, you can be required to remove it at road side if pulled over by DPS.

I have 20% on the front driver and passenger side windows. . .matches the factory exactly. I put a 5% strip on the windshield - that stuff is DARK. I don't think it's a good idea to go that dark on side windows.

 

In WA the legal limit is 35% on the front passenger windows.

I have 15% on my fwont windows, and it matches the factowy tint vewy well.
