WELCOME

I see you have 285's.  So do i (bfg) i am curious what you set your HPIII to?  I had it set at 32.75" but i changed it to 31.75 today because i checked and did the chalk test and it came out to be 31.8".  Also my torque converter was locking up at 35mph and now it doesnt.

Thanks

hey ryanbabz71 i was thinking about your tire question and... i dont no if this was the same prob you had but when i get to around 40-45 mph my truck vibrates a little till i get out of that range. i checked  to see my tire size and its 32.8 tall and 11.3 wide and i see that the   (bfg) you have are like 32.9 and 9.2 wide im not sure if the width makes a difference in when the truck vibrates or even if this is the same prob. or not . what do you think?

thanks

ILLMAC yea at 35mph there was a slight vibration that could be felt.  Also the truck seemed to bog down a bit which was the torque converter locking up (explained by gm tech).

One other problem i had but never thought to much about it was when i would come to a stop (more like a rolling stop) and i would hit the gas i would get a clunk in the front end.  This clunk has since subsided since i have made the tire settings change.

About the grill.  I kinda decided on this today.  My plastic chrome grill looks like crap.  Few spots that wont come clean.  I have a grill guard so that kinda hides it for now but i am definitly gonna start looking.  I want a black grill.

Let me know if you come up with any other tire info
