Reconditioning my '95 1500...

May be a stupid question.., but is it possible to paint a radiator core???

 

If yes, any recommendations on brand of paint? It's a silver core sitting in black truck <gag!>. I'd like to paint it flat-black (trying to avoid having to buy a new one).

I don't see why you couldn't pull it out, clean it real well, and shoot it with flat black paint. The black surface will transfer heat better, too.

Wow, an engineers forum. I bet they get in some debates that are waaaaay over my head.

 

I don't like engineers, because most of them don't like BFH's much.

And that radiator can be taken out in about 12 minutes flat, with practice.
