So i picked my self up a set of new leafs for my yukon today, go to put em in, and came across a lil snag to do it... just wondering what the deal is with the bolts at the front of the leafs, do i have to drop my gas tank to get the d**n bolt out , from what ive heard ya dont have to , but we couldnt figure out how else you would snake it outta there... info on this would be great, i would really like to get these in tommorrow night... what is with GM and stupid bolt set ups.. even doin my shocks i had a problem with the rear left shock bolt cuz the sway bar was in the way..... :driving:

Replacing leaf springs is a rare event here, so I can't answer your question. I looked in our service information and it doesn't really say, but that's not surprising.

If the bolt hits before it comes all the way out, I dont' see any way around removing the tank or at least dropping and moving it over enough to get the bolt out.
