20 inch wheels crew cab

I have a 2004 crew cab and 20 inch centerline wheels. I am buying a 2005 crew cab this weekend after the vin breakpoint so that I can put my wheels on it. My question is, can gm program for the 275/r45/20 or only the 275 55's. The 55's rub on the front so they won't work. If not how does using the hypertech programer for setting the computer for the tires work and affect the truck...thanks

I can't tell you exact tire sizes that can be programmed through the dealer. They'll have to call Techline and ask.

I'm running 275/55/20's on my Crew and they don't rub, it is 4wd though.

 

The 275/55/20 is about 1/2" taller than the stock 17" that came on my truck, I opted not to mess with any speedo changes.

But only if it's after a certain VIN breakpoint in '05 model crew cabs.

Thanks for the input, but I realize that they can program the 275/55/20's but they rub on the front of the truck....I was wondering if they can program the 275/45/20 so that they won't rub and I can lower the truck. If not, I am wondering if the hypertech programmer works and how it affects the truck. thanks again
