4L60E Trouble

I was woundering if anyone could give me any idea's on my TH700-r4 and/or 4l60E electric shift tranny out of a 91 astro van? All was good until I left a stop sign the van would bearly get up to 50kph and the engine was just screaming (7500rpm or more). When I finally got it home it would move back and forward in my driveway but only if I really revved it up and even then it moved mabey at a snails pace, any ideas? I thought mabey it was a pump but really not sure.

7500 rpm....uh don't think so on a stock engine. It would have slung a rod outta the block. Grab your wallet as that trans is junk. Time for replacement.

it has to rev real high to get any movement out of the van. The torque converter spins fast when it revs but the drive shaft spins very slow?
