98bagsilverado Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I'm the owner of the Ram Jet Vortec. Last night we went to the track and the first pass was 1.95 60FT 13.33 1/4 @ 105.9 The second to last pass went 2.06 60ft 13.38 1/4 @ 106.0 I will post the pics of the runs later The times would of been a little better but the barametic pressure was 3900 ft above sea level and the temp was 93 degrees Thanks Zippy for posting the pictures. More times to come soon Shawn Next times might be with a 3.10 pulley
zippy Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 happy to see it's all working out well. it's great to see someone put down numbers with the gen I small block also. the old school stuff can run the numbers too.
98bagsilverado Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Well I've gotten to the track again and it went [email protected] with a 1.86 60FT. With a 3.1 pulley, had some belt slipage. That problem is now fixed. It was 89 degree weather and a density altitude of 2900FT We just installed a 2 bar map sensor and it runs great. TJ figured it out.
