Need Some Help Here...

A couple of weeks ago, I went out to my truck to realize that some sorry SOB stuck a screwdriver into the driver door where the black plastic handle meets the sheetmetal on the bottom side of the handle, directly underneath the key hole. It is so close to the handle that it's not even noticeable at night, yet very obvious in the day, especially considering that a small piece of paint has chipped off since then.

My question is: Do any of you know of some decent looking aftermarket door handles that I could get that will cover this? The Tahoe/Suburban painted handles are the same size as the Silverado ones, so they won't work-they were my 1st try. There's got to be something out there that is just slightly larger than what I've got that'll come down just a little in order to cover this. Any thoughts y'all may have would be appreciated!

And by the way-the guy who did it got away with my Glock 40 cal.

Needless to say, it was more irritated about that than the truck damage!

Man, around here, if that gun was stolen you'd be partially responsible for having it locked up. Sorry to hear about your truck and your piece.

Thanks for the replies. That site for the "jimmi jammer" is pretty neat-I wish I had one of those a few weeks ago!

As far as the gun is concerned, down here in GA, you can get a concealed carry permit (providing you pass the background check) which allows you to carry it on yourself concealed and also have it in your vehicle loaded and stored any way you want. Needless to say I've got one, so there was no liability on my part for not having the gun locked or anything like that.

I'm still searching for some replacement handles though!
