We picked up a Gateway 6518GZ at Best Buy for a nice price, I think for $1200. Works great.

We got a Gateway 8510GZ at Bestbuy a month or so ago for like $1200. It is a pretty nice unit, really quick and a nice 17" widescreen LCD.

HP Pavilion ZE4300 w/ AMD Athlon processor and 1.66 Ghz.

 

Only con of it is the auto scroll on the mouse pad went kaput about two months ago.

We've went to all DELL where I work, havent had any trouble out of their products so far, plus they seem to be getting more affordable all the time.
