03 to 05 Silverados and Ford Keys

Hey guys,

I was just gonna see if anybody was using Ford keys on the 03's to 05's? I was thinking about getting them but wanted to see if any of you were running them and if you have any pics. The thing I am worried about is getting 265/70/17's and using Ford keys to level it out and it looking goofy due to the tire size. Oh last question, I have the part number for the keys, but its been nearly a year and a half since I ordered a set. Don't you have to order 2 which is gonna cost about $45 bucks or so?

Why on earth would you want a piece of a Ford on your Chevy?

CHAD......Those keys are just called "ford" keys or green keys and

can be bought at any GM dealer............

They can be changed in ANY 99 and up NBS GM full sizer.

I think that ya'll missed my point. This isn't my first "rodeo" so to speak. I know what Ford keys are and what they do. I was just wanting input from people that had put them on 03 to 05's, mainly '05's. Also, correct me if I am wrong but Ford keys have to be purchased through a Ford dealer. They are the torsion keys off of the F-150's. The green keys can be purchased at a Chevrolet dealership.

it all then, so why bother to post ???????????

If you would of READ the link I provided it would show the complete

story of the "key" installation along with part numbers along with

after pictures.

The actual GREEN keys were purchased at a GM dealer...........

I don't what to know anything about the installation. I have known that thread was there for over a year now. I specifically wanted 03 to 05's to post pics and opinions about their trucks with Ford keys installed. Honestly, I was really wanted some single cabs to post. I have the part numbers and I don't want the f*cking installation page again. Read, understand, post. It's that easy.
